Including this fruit in the daily diet can bring great health benefits

Cardiovascular diseases are a group of disorders of the heart and blood vessels. They are classified as hypertension (high pressure), coronary heart disease (myocardial infarction), cerebrovascular disease (stroke), peripheral vascular disease, heart failure, rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart disease, and cardiomyopathies. These conditions can be prevented with good eating habits, for example, mandarin, which has beneficial properties for cardiovascular health.

There are other factors that trigger these conditions, specifically the increase in bad cholesterol, which is a risk for cardiovascular health, among these factors are unhealthy eating habits, such as eating a lot of harmful fats. One type, saturated fat, is found in some meats, dairy products, chocolate, baked goods, and processed and fried foods. Another type, trans fat, is found in some fried and processed foods.

In addition, the lack of physical activity, sedentary lifestyle, and little exercise, reduces good cholesterol.

To maintain cardiovascular health in optimal condition is essential, leading a healthy lifestyle is key to achieving this. It is necessary that your diet includes the necessary foods that provide nutrients, as well as vitamins.

Fruits, in general, are a source of vitamins, which help treat various conditions. For example, the properties of tangerine work to treat hypercholesterolemia. As it is a citrus fruit, it has properties that we can use to obtain benefits and reduce our levels of bad cholesterol.

Mandarin is a low-calorie food, ideal for maintaining weight and which also reduces cholesterol with controlled weight loss.

This fruit helps eliminate bad cholesterol thanks to the fact that the fiber prevents the absorption of fats.

Another benefit is that mandarins also reduce cellular oxidation, which reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Including vegetables and fruits in your daily diet can help your body eliminate cholesterol and fats that it does not need.

The mandarin is the fruit of the mandarin, this tree belongs to the Rutaceae family, with characteristics similar to the orange tree, although smaller and more delicate. This family is made up of more than 1,600 species. In addition, the botanical genus Citrus, which includes this fruit, is the most important of the family and consists of about 20 species with edible fruits, all of them very abundant in vitamin C, flavonoids, and essential oils. The fruits, called Hesperides, have the peculiarity that their pulp is made up of numerous vesicles full of juice. Mandarin is considered the citrus fruit most closely related to orange.

One of the greatest properties of this fruit is fiber, its consumption favors intestinal transit. It has a large amount of vitamin C, in less quantity than orange, folic acid, and provitamin A, more abundant than in any other citrus fruit.

It also contains significant amounts of citric acid, potassium, and magnesium. To a lesser extent, there are certain B group vitamins and minerals such as calcium, of worse use than that from dairy or other foods that are a good source of this mineral.

Provitamin A or beta carotene is transformed into vitamin A in our body as it needs it. This vitamin is essential for vision, the good condition of the skin, hair, mucous membranes, bones, and for the proper functioning of the immune system. Vitamin C is involved in the formation of collagen, bones and teeth, red blood cells and favors the absorption of iron from food and resistance to infection. For all its virtues, this fruit cannot be missing from your diet.
